Leaving the ICE

We are 5 days to leaving the land of snow and ice!!! I can't believe that it's so close. We're planning on traveling a lot, then going home for 2 months, then back down here. Crazy how time is flying by. We've seen Adeli penguins, Emperor's , Minki Whales, Skuas! and nacreous clouds, 24 hours of daylight...it's been amazing. We've met great people and are excited about where we are about to go. We're going to hang out in New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vitenam, and China before heading home.

Long time gone

Well, I haven't written on here for a long time. I am sorry about that...and I will be doing better. Today I saw the IceBreaker, the Oden, breaking ice off of the point! And I saw several penguins...when I say several, I mean about 50! I am getting excited to travel, but I have also been having a great time. The other day, I saw 4 Emperor Penguins even! Jeremy is at the Pole, and life has been great. I can't believe I'll be leaving here in about a month, and I can't believe I've been here only 5 months at this point. It will be fun to see a world back in color besides blue and white! Yea for future travels!
